Florida Strawberry Growers Association
Todd Jameson is a 5th generation Floridian and a 4th generation Strawberry Grower. He is the current President of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association. His father was one of the first people to grow strawberries commercially on South Hillsborough County, which is about 30 miles south from the epicenter of strawberry production, Plant City. He learned at at young age that he wanted to grow strawberries for a living. He has been growing them for the last 25 years. He currently, along with his wife Michelle, manages a 96 acre strawberry and spring vegetable farm in Wimauma, FL. They have two sons, Matthew, 20 years old and Lane, 16 years old. They are both interested in pursuing careers in Florida Agriculture. Matthew works for a precision Ag company that flies drones over crops to scout for pest and disease. Lane is currently a sophomore in high school and would like earn a degree in Agribusiness.
