Cabot Farmer-Richardson Family Farm
Cabot Farmer Amy Richardson and her husband Scott, along with three generations of Richardsons, care for a herd of 120 Jersey dairy cows as well as running a large maple syrup operation. Their farm, located in the rolling hills of Hartland, Vermont, has been in the Richardson family for more than 110 years and continues to thrive because of the family’s dedication to innovation and sustainability. Their award-winning practices have made the Richardsons leaders on the Cabot Sustainable Farms Committee and the Connecticut River Farmers Watershed Alliance, a group dedicated to helping farmers proactively address environmental issues.
