2015 Wisconsin Cheese Recipe Contest

Prizes

First place winner will receive:

  • Reimbursement for their full conference pass, hotel accommodations and airfare to the Food and Wine Conference in Orlando, FL. (Travel expenses not to exceed $2,000.)
  • Wisconsin Cheese Assortment
  • The recipe will be featured on EatWisconsinCheese.com.

Second place winner will receive:

  • $250 gift card
  • Reimbursement for their full conference pass to the Food and Wine Conference in Orlando, FL.
  • Wisconsin Cheese Assortment
  • The recipe will be featured on EatWisconsinCheese.com.

Third place winner will receive:

  • $100 gift card
  • Reimbursement for their full conference pass to the Food and Wine Conference in Orlando, FL.
  • Wisconsin Cheese Assortment
  • The recipe will be featured on EatWisconsinCheese.com.


How to Enter

  1. Develop an original easy summer recipe that includes Wisconsin cheese. It cannot be an adapted recipe.
  2. Publish a blog post with the recipe between April 23 and June 19, 2015.
  3. Share your blog post on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram between April 23 and June 19, 2015 using the conference hashtag #FWcon. Note: You can also use the additional #WisconsinCheese hashtag in your shares (not mandatory, but highly recommended)
  4. Include information on the Food and Wine Conference and this contest in your post.
  5. Enter your submission into the form below.


Judging

Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board representatives will select the winning recipe from all eligible entries. They will disqualify previously published recipes, such as but not limited to those in cookbooks, in magazines, from food companies, on food blogs, or recipe websites, and winners in cooking contests, unless the recipe changes are significant.


Winner Notification

The winners will be notified confidentially prior to the conference. The winners will be announced publicly at the conference. Winners must be in attendance at the conference to receive the prizes.

Rules

  1. Recipes must use cow’s milk cheese made in Wisconsin.
  2. Recipe must be the original creation of Entrant. Recipe may not have been previously published or otherwise owned, sold or conveyed to a third party, may not have won previous awards, must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. Winner will be required to certify, on information or belief, that their recipe is their original creation.
  3. Contest is open to entrants who are Food and Wine Conference attendees 18 years of age or older and not an employee, officer, director or agent of the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies and members of their immediate family.
  4. Submitted recipes may be featured on the EatWisconsinCheese.com for future marketing and promotions.
